If you've never made a plate before or it doesn't come out exactly the way you remember, don't let the Plate Purists get you down...
If Purists always got their way, there would be no such thing as a Plate!
Burger Patties. About 1/4 lb each. Press thin before cooking. Use white American cheese.
Sauce. Heat and Serve. Refrigerate after opening. Note use-by date.
Assembling the Plate
- Fill your plate with the mac and homefries. Maybe some chilled baked beans too?
- Add the cheeseburgers with mustard (**or hots, grilled cheese, steak, eggs…)
- Ladle ROCHESTER PLATE SAUCE over the whole plate to your liking
- Top with chopped onion
- Finish with Tabasco, ketchup and a couple slices of Italian bread.

- Tabasco (or RedHot)
- Brown mustard
- Baked beans (opt’l)
- Elbow macaroni
- 8” paper plate
- Plastic fork & knife
- White American cheese
- Frozen potatoes
- Italian bread
