You've had burger ...after burger ...after boring burger.
FINALLY! A handful of AWESOMENESS you'll remember!
˝ pound ground
4 ˝ tablespoons ROCHESTER PLATE SAUCE
+ 2 tablespoons
more for topping
2 slices yellow
American cheese (or jalepeno cheese)
1 slice large Ugly
1 leaf greenleaf
1 thin slice white
salt & pepper
1 large burger bun
(pictured: Anzio’s Hearty Sandwich Roll), halved
Tabasco Sauce, spicy
brown mustard, ketchup
the 4 ˝ tbl ROCHESTER PLATE SAUCE into the ground beef form into a 5 – 5 ˝ inch patty (for
smaller burger, use 1/3 lb beef with 3 tbl Plate Sauce). Butter the inside of
both halves of the bun. Grill the
buttered side of the bun halves until they are golden brown with grill
marks. Grill the burger patty to your
liking, 3-6 minutes per side depending on your grill temperature. HINT: do not move the burger around a
lot! When cooked, melt the cheese over
the patty. Season with salt and pepper.
To build your
burger, start with the bottom bun, then lettuce, tomato, onion, burger patty,
remaining ROCHESTER PLATE SAUCE, condiments to taste and bun top.
